Our next Open Day:
We offer a range of general talks on student life including accommodation options, industrial experience and study abroad, as well as subject-specific talks. All talks are offered on a first-come first-served basis on the day. You are welcome to attend any talks and activities in any subject area, not just the one you indicated an interest in at the time of booking. Once you have checked-in on arrival you are free to come and go from the Open Day as it suits you.
General Campus Tours will be running all day from the Octagon. One of our Student Ambassadors will show you around and answer any questions you may have about life as a student at Queen Mary. Halls of residence Tours will be running all day from the Student Village and is an opportunity to look around the place you might be calling home in a year’s time. Some academic Schools will be offering tours of their facilities throughout the day. If you would rather explore the campus independently, pop in to the General Campus Tours area in the Octagon, where you can pick up a Self-Guided Tour leaflet to help you find your way around.
Academic Welcome Areas
Each academic School hosts a Welcome Area, which are available on a drop-in basis throughout the day. In each Welcome Area, you will have the opportunity to talk to our staff and students about all aspects of their courses, research and extra-curricular offerings. Some Schools will have information in their Welcome Areas regarding additional sessions they are offering, including talks, tours and the opportunity to view student work.
Can’t make it to our open day?
The UK Student Recruitment team organises campus tours of our Mile End campus throughout the year. Tours are led by current Queen Mary students, last approximately one hour and take in most of the key College facilities, such as the Library, Students' Union and gym. Book your tour.
