Standard tuition fee rates

Tuition fees for Home students are set by Research Councils UK (RCUK) and the 2017-18 published rates are:

  • £4,195 for full-time research degrees (including MPhil and PhD)
  • £2,061 for part-time research degrees (including MPhil and PhD)
