About Role

We are seeking a receptionist to join our team at Residences Reception, located at the heart of our student village on the Mile End Campus. The Residences Reception operates round the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This role involves working a fixed pattern of 2 days across a 7-day week. Reporting to the Residences Reception Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the Residential Services Team, providing assistance to the 3000 residents living across 4 sites. As the primary point of contact for students residing on campus, as well as guests and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

The position is based at the Mile End Campus in London and offers part-time employment, consisting of 14 hours per week, on a permanent basis. The starting salary for this role will be £27,979 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of the London Allowance.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of reception work and of working in a student residential setting. Whilst the working pattern is fixed, there are times when the post holder will need to be flexible with hours to cover busy periods such as move in weekend and open days plus the summer period when rooms are let out to conference guests.
