About the Role 

 Applications are sought for an experienced Officer Manager with excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills. This role will provide comprehensive support to the Nanoforce Chief Executive Officer and work with the wider team, working with external customers, Nanoforce Board & staff. 

About You 

 The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic scientific and high technology environment and will have: 

  • Experience as an Office Manager/Executive PA at Board level to a Limited company. 
  • Experience in using a range of IT systems and processes including financial, portfolio, CRM, Office 365 suite and working with Business customers. 
  • Extensive experience of preparing agendas, presentation materials (using, for example, Microsoft Powerpoint) and other relevant documentation, as necessary ahead of meetings, including Board meetings, liaising with University colleagues and external partners as appropriate.  
  • Experience of having contributed to projects at a strategic level on behalf of senior management. 
  • Ability to track finances & provide reporting updates against budgets. 

About Nanoforce Technology Limited 

 This post is within Nanoforce Ltd., a spin-out company of Queen Mary University of London, which was set up to provide a link between the research activities of the School of Engineering and Materials Science (SEMS) & industry. Nanoforce operates in a range of areas including polymer/composite processing, ceramics processing, bioengineering and medical devices. Nanoforce is also looking to extend into other areas. About the School 

SEMS is a large School with approximately 100 academic staff and 45 postdoctoral research staff. There are around 1800 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students and 220 PhD students. Circa 45 administrative and technical staff support the staff and students. The staff and student body are international in make-up.
