About the Role

The purpose of this role is to lead, coordinate and manage the Centre for Doctoral Training Data Centric Engineering. This CDT focuses on providing ongoing support to PhD students from non-academic backgrounds, either those who have been working in industry or those who have not been in education for more than 3 years.   A key part of the role will involve supporting the students with diverse needs, and integrating them into the vibrant research environment at Queen Mary.

Working with the Director the postholder will be responsible for the evaluation of the pilot. The postholder will collect quantitative and qualitative data from the CDT and national benchmarks, and work with the leadership team to produce annual reports, present them to the governance boards of the CDT, and disseminate to relevant national organisations e.g. UKRI, Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society.
