Members of the Institute of Tax Law are engaged in a wide range of research activities and projects focusing on the United Kingdom, the United States, China, emerging and developing countries and the European Union.
Institute members have lectured at the London School of Economics and Politics, New York University, University of Notre Dame, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nirma University, Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), ELSA Summer Law School, ESCP Business School and other institutions and programmes. They also speak at academic and professional conferences in the United Kingdom and abroad.
In addition, Institute members are active in the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the leading UK body for tax professionals, and the International Fiscal Association, the leading professional and policy organisation for the study of international and comparative tax law and the financial and economic aspects of taxation, as well as other professional bodies.
As part of its commitment to research engagement, the Institute welcomes visiting scholars and visiting research students.
