Last night (21 February 2019), Senior Lecturer in Modern British History Dr Robert Saunders appeared on Channel 4 News.
Interviewed by Cathy Newman, Robert spoke on the topic of referendums, why they tend to divide political parties and historical comparisons to the current British political situation.
Robert's appearance follows the release of his book Yes to Europe! The 1975 Referendum and Seventies Britain (Cambridge, 2018).
