London Hospital Dental Club Annual Clinical Meeting
This year's programme has been curated by Paul Wright (q BDS, The London, 1969) who recently retired from the Dental School as Professor of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Joining us to mark, not only Paul's contributions but also, the Centenary year of The London Hospital Dental School, will be a range of speakers of national and international standing. Topics across this two-day event will include restorative dentistry, paediatric dentistry and radiology, amalgam and its alternatives, caries removal, 3D radiology, modern prosthodontics, all against the background of the latest Adult Dental Health Survey. The Slack Medal will be presented to Dayananda Samarawickrama, or "Professor Sam" as he is affectionately known, (q PhD Dentistry, The London, 1975), Emeritus Professor of Conservative Dentistry. The Evelyn Sprawson Lecture will be given by Rupert Hoppenbrouwers, Head of the Dental Defence Union (DDU).
A drinks' reception will bring Friday's programme to a close, followed by a three-course subscription dinner at Le Café du Marché. On Saturday, following lunch, we are pleased to offer two optional visits to the Whitechapel Bell Foundry or the Centre of the Cell.
