Blizard researchers recognised at the British Society for Investigative Dermatology Annual Meeting

Congratulations to colleagues in the Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research for their success in winning various prizes at the Annual Meeting of the British Society for Investigative Dermatology (BSID).

The BSID is an independent non-profit organisation that promotes high quality scientific research in dermatology. The society is committed to educating young professionals joining the field, and their events provide opportunities for researchers and clinicians to network and collaborate, as well as guest lectures, presentations of original research, and educational symposia.

Eleri Jones was announced as the winner of the poster prize, Aaron Hughes won the clinician oral presentation prize, and Bjorn Thomas won the RSM section of dermatology research prize (chosen from 13 submitted abstracts).

Professor Edel O'Toole also received the British Society for Investigative Dermatology 2022 Medal which she was previously awared by the BSID for distinguished service to dermatological research over many years.
