The Institute Director is a pivotal role in the Faculty Executive, responsible for ensuring that the Blizard Institute continues to provide a rich, inclusive, and stimulating environment in which research and education can thrive, contributing to the overall ambitious strategy for the Faculty and the University.

About you

You will have an internationally leading external profile and will bring substantial leadership experience at a senior level. With outstanding strategic acumen, candidates will have a track record of successfully leading major initiatives and change, with a values-led approach to leadership that models and champions an inclusive, respectful culture. You will be able to demonstrate having made significant contributions to research and education internationally and nationally, ideally in a field cognate to the Faculty’s interdisciplinary research and education strategic themes including environmental health, life-long health (including such areas as child health and gerontology), crisis prevention and trauma, and health data science.
