Our first teaching and discussion week took place at the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry in London, UK from the 9th – 13th April. We were joined by a range of representatives from our partner countries, Uganda, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Colombia for a week of shared learning and skills training.

During this week we have a variety of interesting presentations and schedules, learning about different mental health systems in each of our partner countries, as well as introductory sessions on a range of topics from Good Clinical Practice to how we can best collaborate as partners.

Following the teaching week, we were joined by three researchers, one from each of our partner countries for a longer residential stay, to promote further development of research and interests and to continue with the promotion of shared learning.
