Professor Jack Cuzick wins ASCCP2019 Abstract Award

The American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology has awarded their prize for the  Best Overall Scientific Abstract 2019 to Professor Jack Cuzick and his co-authors.

The abstract entitled “Comparison of HPV Positivity and Viral Load in Self-Collected Vaginal Samples and Urine Using Four Collection Devices” was selected from over 160 submitted  abstracts by the ASCCP2019 Annual Scientific Meeting Program Co-Chairs, Drs. Colleen Stockdale and Lisa Flowers, as the Best Overall Scientific Abstract, and the paper will be presented at 5pm on 6th April in Atlanta, Georgia. 

There was significant competition for the award, with over 160 abstracts submissions for this year's ASCCP Annual Scientific Meeting.  The award, worth $500, is given for the best overall scientific abstract dedicated to the prevention and treatment of anogenital and HPV-related diseases.  It will be presented at the meeting on 7 April 2019.
