In the Research Excellence Framework 2014, the Centre was ranked 5th out of 32 entries under UoA2 (Public Health, Health Services and Primary Care). The results reflected a return of 20.61 full-time equivalent category A staff. The overall quality rating was of staff 44% at 4* (world leading) and 42% at 3* (internationally excellent). We did particularly well on impact and environment with 100% of our quality ratings at 3 or above. We are well placed for the next REF2021, including primary research outputs, a strong environment, and case studies.
