About the Role

We are seeking an experienced study coordinator to work on the Under & Over study investigating a new upper limb rehabilitation tool for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The post-holder will be responsible for delivery of the study including recruitment, data collection, the day-to-day running of the study, data analysis, and dissemination of findings.
 

About You

Candidates should have a degree and proven experience in clinical research on Multiple Sclerosis. Applicants will need experience of mixed methods research, and proven project management skills. Applicants will also have up-to-date knowledge of key legislation, and a current Good Clinical Practice qualification.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow - QMUL24271

About the Role

This exciting and unique role will provide an opportunity to be involved in a number of research projects on salt reduction in the UK and China, particularly, the successful candidate will work on the MRC and NIHR co-funded project – Scaling up a school-based education programme to reduce salt in China. The overall aim of the project is to develop a feasible, sustainable and adaptable scale-up package for a larger-scale implementation of the school-based education programme to reduce salt intake in children and their families in China.

About You

Applicants should hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, Health Economics or a related discipline with demonstrated experience in computational and statistical analysis. Applicants should also have a proven track record of publishing research in high impact peer-reviewed journals. The successful candidate should be pro-active, insightful, with excellent organisation skills, and able to use his/her initiative, as well as working in a team.

Lecturer in Mental Health - QMUL24184

About the Role

The Centre for Psychiatry offers highly successful postgraduate programmes in Mental Healthcare. The Lecturer in Mental Health will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, assessment and scholarly activity for several courses, including the MSc/MRes Psychological Therapies and MSc Forensic Psychology and Mental Health, together with development and delivery of new courses (e.g. MSc Preventive Medicine) and related administration.

About You

Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology, mental health or social sciences or learning methods, or Professional Doctorate in Psychology (DClinPsy, ForenPsyD or equivalent). Applicants will need experience in teaching at UG or PG level, and have published high quality pedagogical work in appropriate outlets. The successful candidate will also have clear and ambitious plans for future scholarship activities.
