Profile

I joined Queen Mary University of London in October 2018. My current research focuses on the screening and prevention of bowel cancer.

Prior to joining CCP, I completed my degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Queen Mary in June 2018. I used survival analysis techniques to inspect the carcinogenicity of a food colouring additive called Red40 in the third year project. After that, I studied for a masters in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. My thesis focused on estimating outcomes for different diagnostic policies when using  faecal immunochemical tests (FIT) for bowel cancer screening in the UK. In-between the two studies, I interned shortly at the Warwick Clinical Trials Unit, researching the effects of using OSNA (to inform surgical decisions) on the survival rates of breast cancer patients.
