Georgina completed her BSc at the University of Surrey, where she completed a placement year at The John Howard Centre (ELFT), a medium secure unit for men with personality disorder. Georgina gained further clinical experience as an Assistant Psychologist working in child-care proceeding psychology assessments and in an Improving Access to Therapies (IAPT) service. Following this, Georgina undertook an MSc in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies at Queen Mary University of London whilst also working as a Research Assistant back at The John Howard Centre on a project about progression for men on the offender personality disorder (OPD) pathway. Georgina is now funded by the LISS DTP to complete a PhD evaluating specialist open prison services for offenders with personality disorder across four open prisons.
