Profile

I am an Assistant Nutritionist for Consensus Action on Salt, Sugar and Health (CASSH), which is within the Centre for the Public Health & Policy at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health. Action on Salt and Action on Sugar are concerned with the health effects of excess salt, sugar and calories intake.

As an Assistant Nutritionist, I contribute towards campaign work, including product surveys and liaising with public figures, sponsors, and allied health care professionals when assisting to plan for Salt and Sugar Awareness Weeks. Alongside this, I currently lead on three social media platforms: Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. I guide the team to develop successful social media plans to ensure they meet organisational objectives. I transform research papers, press releases and surveys into engaging content for the social media channels, newsletters and blogs.

I completed a BSc in Nutrition and Health from University of Roehampton and a Masters in Nutrition for Global Health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I am also a guest lecturer for various universities on salt, sugar and public health campaigns.
