Details:This programme offers a rich academic schedule and co-curricular activities, allowing students to experience American culture and university life first-hand. UCI offers more than 800 courses across 70 subject areas. Students have the option to enrol in two courses or take a smaller academic load by combining one course within your major and one Academic English course.
Fees:USD $4,014, with a separate cost of approximately US $2000 for accommodation and meal plan. Students will be required to pay their own travel, visa, and insurance costs.

Details: George Washington University offers the chance to build your own schedule of classes according to your interests. Details: Offering prestige, culture and fun, McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies provides international students with unique opportunities to learn and experience something new both in and out of the classroom. Students have the chance to study a range of modules, from Aerospace Engineering to language and culture courses in French. There are also modules that offer more career-specific skills such as Human Resources or Leadership.
Fees: Dependent on course but start at CAD $1500 (approximately £921) and work up to CAD $3985 (approximately £2446). Students should check the brochure to find out exact prices and what the fees include as a package.

Details: This programme is for those who are interested in learning or wish to improve their Spanish language skills. The participants also have the opportunity to learn about Mexican culture and raise intercultural awareness. Topics include Mexican History & Culture, as well as Spanish for Business. Outside of the classroom, students will have the chance to visit various places of interest, such as Mexican Wrestling (lucha libre), Tequila town and much more.
Fees: USD $2500 (approximately £2000). This includes: tuition fees, materials, cultural activities & transportation, accommodation, meals, welcome kit and a certificate once the course is completed.

Manipal University summer programme
Dates: 3-16 July 2017
Details: Manipal University will be offering a Two Week Summer Program on the theme Incredible India: Cultural Immersion at Manipal during 3-16 July 2017 at Manipal. The basic objective of the program is to orient the students towards India’s Culture, Society, Philosophy and Traditions. This two week program will help those who would like to know more about India. The cultural immersion will be a very important aspect of the program.
Fees: USD $1000 (approximately £800). Students should enquire as to what this includes.

Details: The University of Malaya is running their third summer school this year, focussed on ‘Cultural Pluralism in Asia and Europe’. This is an ongoing initiative encompassing socio-cultural and socio-economic issues of the two continents, which aims to foster ties between Asia and Europe through a deeper understanding of both regions’ national and cultural heritage.

Details: For their third year since opening, the International Summer School New Delhi has opened applications for their 6 week intensive summer school programme. The programme will take place at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The programme offers courses for anyone who is interested in any of the following: Indian Politics, Indian Economy, Sociology and Indian History. In the final 2 weeks, students partake in fieldwork which includes a community outreach programme usually based in Rajasthan.
Fees: The programme costs USD $2875; accommodation is not included but can be provided at an additional cost.

After the great success of the first QMUL Confucius Institute China Summer Camp in 2016, the Confucius Institute will be running the camp again in 2017. Together with the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, we will be providing the opportunity for students to take part in a summer camp in Shanghai. The programme provides students with the chance to discover the economy, culture, language and history of China today. The programme runs for 2 weeks from July 15, 2017 to July 30, 2017.
You will spend two weeks in Shanghai, including a weekend in Beijing. You will learn about the China of today; attend cultural performances, such as the opera and acrobatics; go on excursions, such as to the Great Wall in Beijing and Yu Yuan Garden in Shanghai; study Chinese language; participate in Chinese cultural activities, such as Tai Chi; as well as many more.
Students will study Chinese, and take part in cultural visits such as the Great Wall and Yu Yuan Garden. The cost of the programme is approximately £1000 (price subject to change depending on flights costs) including flights, travel insurance, visa costs, transportation, accommodation, meals, excursions and classes.

Details: UI CREATES is a 2-week program where students of participating universities can earn 3 credits by taking 1 available subject offered by Universitas Indonesia (UI). Students will not only study the selected course, but will also learn Indonesian language and culture, go on cultural visits, and join field study program at selected institutions related to the subject.
Fees: Term 1 is USD $500, Term 2 is USD $650 (approximately £400-£500). This does not include accommodation, but does include tuition fee, excursions, lunch, airport transfer and local transportation throughout the programme. Students can apply for a scholarship to cover their accommodation fee.

Details: 2017 Global Summer School provides excellent opportunities for students to learn about China through academic and cultural immersion during this summer. A wide range of courses in various disciplines are provided, including Public Policy and City Governance, Brain Science and Technology, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Culture, Urban Horticulture and Its Culture, and Discovering Chinese Creativity, each of which will be accompanied with Chinese language courses for both beginners and intermediate learners. The courses are taught in English by experienced faculty members from Waseda and visiting professors from our partner institutions. Details: The HKU Summer Institute is offering an extensive range of programmes for 2017, covering various disciplines including arts, social science, science and business. As well as the campus based programme, there are also multi location programmes offering travel to Beijing, Yunnan or Seoul with the aim of rewarding students with the experience of international exposure and cultural exchange. The HKU Summer Institute is divided into two sessions. Most of the programmes will last 3-4 weeks and offer 6-12 HKU credits.
Fees: The cost of the campus based programme ranges from HKD 7580 to 16,000, while the cost of the multi location programme is higher and varied according to location. A 10% discount on tuition fees is also offered to students from HKU partner universities. Accommodation in HKU costs approximately HKD 2,000 per week and is optional for students.

Details: UTRIP is a 6-week summer internship program for students majoring in natural science and other relevant fields. It provides students with an opportunity to gain the experience of "real graduate-school life" or "research-centered life." UTRIP is a gateway to pursuing an advanced degree and experiencing academic life at University of Tokyo. Participants on UTRIP will also be granted financial support to cover their costs and expenses. You will also get the opportunity to take part in cultural activities and excursions to learn more about Japan, such as a Japanese language course and a culture workshop.
Fees: There are no program or accommodation fees. Students are liable for their own travel & meal costs. All participants on UTRIP receive a stipend of 60,000 JPY, accommodation and funding for travel up to 100,000 JPY. Details: This short programme offers students the chance to study two units, 1 of which can be a credit-bearing internship. This provides the opportunity to gain work experience within the Australian marketplace. Students enhance their skills and develop confidence by undertaking a credit-bearing Study Abroad Internship course through industry partners from a variety of fields including start-ups, technology firms, financial service providers and non-profits.
Applicants are placed on a best-fit basis. Placement is competitive and based on eligibility criteria such as GPA (3.2 minimum), applicability of academic studies to the placement, and the outcome of a Skype interview. Students will have the opportunity to:
- Become familiar with Australia's workplace culture
- Apply their learning in real-life environments
- Enhance their interpersonal, communication and cross-cultural skills

Details: This course is ideal for those who are currently in second year film studies, although applications are open to all provided a portfolio can be provided. Screen Tools is a hands-on course designed to set you up with the tools you need to launch your career in film, television and digital media industries. Instructed by 'The Hobbit' actor John Callen, this course is ideal for students with an interest in filmmaking or script writing. Over four weeks, students on this course work as a production team to produce a serial drama. Field trips to the Hobbiton movie set and Weta Workshop design and effects studio are included.
