Queen Mary Venues holds Premiere Wedding Showcase
To celebrate Leap Day this year, we had the pleasure to open the doors to our Grade II listed wedding venues for the first time and inspire newly engaged couples for their big day.
Our experienced wedding co-ordinators treated the future brides and grooms to private tours of the romantic, historic venues. The guests had the opportunity to taste some of the most exquisite canapés and desserts, prepared by the in-house catering team.
Weddings at Queen Mary – the brand that supports the weddings' product, opened the doors of The Octagon and The Senior Common room exclusively to the public, and advise brides and grooms to be on wedding trends and ideas. With the support of our experienced suppliers, we created the perfect ambience to spark inspiration and guidance for the big day.
Nestled in the heart of East London, Weddings at Queen Mary offers extraordinary venues in a unique setting. Dating back to 1887, this Victorian People’s Palace of delight was designed as a place for the community to come together in the concert hall, the library and the picture galleries.
Today, these magnificent venues are available to hire as the backdrop of one of the most important and memorable events. Breathtakingly romantic, the Grade II listed spaces offer peace and opulence, allowing unravelled opportunities for photography and videography.
The Octagon, formerly the Queen Mary library, can accommodate up to 240 guests for a wedding ceremony and reception.
The Senior Common room, an exclusive-use private members club, can accommodate up to 100. This historical venue offers harmony and serenity, providing the couple and their guests with a private location for their wedding ceremony and reception.
