Weddings at QMUL launches new 'Dry Hire' package
Valentine’s day this year saw the launch of Weddings at QMUL - the new identity for our wedding offering which saw the introduction of new, refreshed packages.

Following further feedback, we have added an additional option to our package portfolio - dry hire. This option includes hire of the Octagon for 8 hours, tables and chairs, as well as a security presence for the duration of the wedding celebration and cleaning of the venue following the event.
We have also teamed up with Greenleaf, a caterer who specialises in Asian cuisine and décor, to assist us with our dry hire Asian weddings. This successful partnership allows us to ensure that everything for the ‘big day’ is meticulously planned out so that any issues that occur can be addressed and resolved as soon as possible. It enhances our ability to deliver a dream wedding that is tailored to the couple’s exact requirements. This new package and partnership allows our venue to appeal to specific clientele, whom before we were unable to accommodate.
Our signature venue for weddings is our beautiful Grade II listed Octagon, for up to 220 guests. Hosting an event in the Octagon is an unforgettable experience. The extraordinary Victorian venue provides a truly atmospheric setting for a couple’s special day. The Octagon’s shelves are lined with brightly coloured books and busts of eminent authors which compliment the beautiful domed ceiling.
