We will be running regular tours of our Mile End and Whitechapel campuses throughout the day. This will be your chance to see the facilities available at QMUL and take in the wonderful sights. The tours will include a chance to view our libraries, Students' Union, gym, historic buildings and more.
Tours for the Mile End campus will be available from the Student Experience Fair based in the Octagon in the Queens' Building. One of our Student Ambassadors will show you around and answer any questions you may have about life as a student at Queen Mary. Tours for the Whitechapel campus will be offered from the Barts and The London Students' Association (BLSA) Building. Please note that the Campus Tour does not include our accommodation, which can be seen separately on the Halls of Residence Tours.
The Campus Tours last around 45 minutes to one hour and there may be a short wait for a tour at peak times. We also offer a self-guided tour booklet which allows you to go on your own tour. This is available to pick up from the Campus Tours stand.
Some of our Academic Schools offer facility tours to help you find out more about subject specific facilities. These tours are a great way to see where you will be studying and the fantastic resources available at your disposal. For more information about these tours and to book a place, please speak to staff at your relevant Subject Information Point on the day.
Halls of residence tours for Mile End will be running all day from the Student Village where you'll have the opportunity to look around the place you might be calling home in a year's time. Tours will take approximately 20 minutes and accommodation staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
The School of Medicine and Dentistry (and some joint programmes within the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences) have their own dedicated halls of residence at the Whitechapel Campus (Floyer House) and the Charterhouse Square Campus (Dawson Hall), and therefore will not be offered the option to be housed at Mile End. During the October Open Day, our Whitechapel and Chaterhouse Square campuses will not be open for viewing, however, we will have virtual tours available of some of our accommodation options at the Whitechapel Campus.
