We are proud to have a vibrant, cosmopolitan and welcoming student community. We work closely with our students to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Much of our success lies in our ability to attract world leaders in teaching and research. By combining expert academic knowledge and practical skills, we support you in reaching your full potential and help you learn how to practice law, and not just study it. This is enhanced by projects that enable our students to experience law in a professional context.
The Legal Advice Centre and George Hinde Moot competition gives you the chance to put your knowledge into practice whilst instilling the values of legal ethics at this early stage in your career. We are consistently striving to make your learning, social and professional experiences enjoyable and fulfilling.
I chose to study law at Queen Mary because you are not just a student number here. The staff and students here take the time to get to know you and meet with you outside of the lecture theatre. The careers team are really helpful and there are loads of new and exciting opportunities to get involved with. The expert teaching staff are very approachable, and the students here are driven but also friendly and willing to help! My experience here has been amazing and I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with multiple community projects and make a real difference.— Tasmyn, Global Law LLB
