You voted: Hail Mary!Hail Mary

It seems like a lot of you really like your sports, so it’s no wonder Hail Mary was voted the winner here! Hail Mary is one of the most attended club nights at Drapers and is QMSU’s monthly celebration of sport and societies success. Keep an eye out on the QMSU events page for future Hail Mary nights!

What else is in your calendar?

Fresher’s Fair

The Fresher’s Fair which takes place during Welcome Week was a favourite among students. This is the place to be to find out all you need to know about the many societies and activities you can take part in while at QMUL. It’s a great place to find some inspiration to try something new, and you can get your hands on some nice freebies!

Graduation

It’s great to see that Graduation is a popular event among our alumni! Your graduation ceremony is a wonderful way to celebrate your achievement at the end of your programme. It's a time for family, friends and colleagues to come together in acknowledging your success at QMUL, and to wish you well in the next stage of your career. It’s definitely one not to miss!

Festival of Communities

The annual Festival of Communities brings together hands-on demonstrations of local research and services with family activities, food stalls and live performances, featuring something for all ages and interests! In collaboration with Tower Hamlets community groups and organisations, the festival explores living and learning in east London, featuring over 100 activities each year showcasing exciting research, community initiatives, businesses and services.

Dental Beer Race

The Dental Beer Race is one of the highlights in the Barts and The London calendar for students. The race aims to raise money for RAG through ticket sales, and students participate by visiting each of the selected bars and pubs down Mile End Road dressed in ridiculous fancy dress costumes! There are often prizes awarded to the teams with the best costume and who completes the race first!
