Drapers Bar & Kitchen is the most popular place on campus to grab some food or a drink. It has recently been renovated to provide a relaxed environment for students and staff to take a break from work and socialise with friends. The improved menu offers good quality food and options for those with special dietary requirements, and the kitchen is open until 8.30pm each day.

The Griff Inn Bar & Kitchen

The Griff Inn Bar & Kitchen is located at the Whitechapel campus at Barts and The London Students’ Association (BLSA). It provides an easy-going environment for students and customers to socialise with friends and colleagues. There’s a great food menu which offers options for those with special dietary requirements. Happy hour is 4–6pm!

Mucci’s

Mucci’s in Library Square at the Mile End campus offers healthy, authentic food in a warm and relaxed environment. The dishes are freshly prepared with quality ingredients, and come with great service. The menu offers a range of authentic dishes, including vegetarian options, every day. There's even an all-you-can-eat buffet on Wednesday lunchtimes! Whether you’re after a hearty meal, or a light snack and a coffee, Mucci’s offers the perfect place to enjoy some food and take a break.

Ground

Ground is a high street style café in the heart of the Mile End campus. Situated behind the Library, Ground Café offers excellent fresh coffee, ice-cold frappés and soft drinks. They serve a variety of toasted handmade paninis, flat breads and wraps or indulgent cakes, muffins and treats. It’s the perfect place to hang out between lectures, have a group study session or catch up with friends.

Learning Cafe

The Learning Cafe is located in Mile End Library on the ground floor and serves tea and coffee, a large selection of sandwiches and salads, cakes, muffins and snacks. There is also a large study/seating area with power sockets and Wi-Fi. Profits from The Learning Cafe are reinvested to improve students' lives, such as being reinvested into the Campus Community Fund, which funds cultural and learning events on campus, training events and workshops, and equipment and facilities to improve the environment of the Library, Hive or Students' Union. The Village Shop

Located in the heart of the Student Village at the Mile End campus, The Village Shop is your one-stop shop offering a great selection of leading brands from Heinz to Stella Artois as well as a comprehensive selection of Co-op grocery products. It feels just like a mini supermarket with the added benefit of being on campus. Look out for the great promotional deals throughout the year. Don't forget the special £3.25 Meal Deal! There is also a photo booth for passport photos and identify cards and a wide range of specialist international groceries are also available.

Infusion

Based in Godward Square at the Mile End campus, Infusion has great offers across ranges of food and drink, stationery, cards, newspapers and magazines. Pop in for your morning coffee, grab lunch between lectures or pick up a snack on your way home. There is something for everyone as they have a large range of sandwiches and wraps, including a great vegetarian and halal selection, hot and cold drinks, sweets, cakes and healthy snacks. Infusion also stocks a large range of QMUL branded clothing and merchandise such as hoodies, T-Shirts and memorabilia of your time at Queen Mary. They also offer hot food to go, providing a range of freshly baked pasties, sausage rolls, pastas and pizza.

The Senior Common Room

Open to all staff and postgraduate students at QMUL, the Senior Common Room (SCR) located in the Queens’ Building at the Mile End campus comprises two main areas. The SCR Lounge sells a selection of sandwiches, cakes, snacks and soft drinks, and the SCR Bar operates with a wide range of drinks and snacks including a fine selection of wines. The SCR is a great place for an informal meeting or relaxing with guests and colleagues.
