Jones Building, Room 223ProfilePublicationsProfileI research thermoelectric materials with a specific emphasis on structural characterisation enabling the structure-property relations to be determined. I completed my PhD in Inorganic Materials Chemistry at Heriot-Watt University via a prestigious British Council scholarship where I explored half Heusler based thermoelectrics. This was followed by a postdoctoral research associate position at the National Graphene Institute, University of Manchester. My project focussed on searching for flexibility in inorganic thermoelectric materials. In March 2020, I joint the Centre for Condensed Matter and Materials Physics at QUML where I am now working with Dr.Jan Mol on self-assembled nanoparticle arrays for thermoelectric applications.ResearchPublications Asaad M, Buckman J, Smith RI et al.
