Kajita, 2015 Nobel Prize Laureate and Director of the Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR), University of Tokyo, on behalf of the University of Tokyo, host lab of the Hyper-Kamiokande experiment together with KEK, announced that the construction of the Hyper-Kamiokande experiment will start in 2020 (https://www.interactions.org/press-release/hyper-kamiokande-experiment-begin-construction-april-2020).
