RAS discussion meeting 11 March 2016 - Turbulence in solar, space and astrophysical plasmas

Abstract submission is now open for the RAS specialist discussion on the 11th March 2016: 
'Turbulence in solar, space and astrophysical plasmas'
RAS Lecture Theatre, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London. 

The meeting aims to bring together the solar, heliospheric and astrophysical communities, discussing open problems and recent achievements in the observation and modelling of turbulent plasmas, as well as the future contribution from in situ and remote sensing explorations by upcoming heliospheric missions such as Solar Orbiter and Solar Probe Plus. 
A keynote presentation on THOR, the Turbulent Heating ObserveR (ESA M4 call), will be given by the mission lead proposer Andris Vaivads (IRF, Uppsala). 

Oral and poster contributions are welcome. Students are also encouraged to attend.
