The Epoch of Reionisation signals the end of the Dark Ages of the Universe and the birth of the first stars. The race is on to make the first statistical detection of this epoch however the foregrounds swamp the cosmological data by several orders of magnitude and their removal remains a significant challenge for both current and future telescopes. I will speak broadly about the foreground mitigation techniques currently being used with EoR data and introduce the science we hope to extract both with current generation telescopes and the next generation SKA.
