Pre Arrival Information

We will post Pre Arrival Information for students joining us in September 2020 on this page as it becomes available. You will also receive important and useful information via email so please do ensure you read everything we send to you.

We will publish details of our Airport Meet and Greet, Introductory Sessions and Useful Pre Arrival Information here as it becomes available. Please note that this information will also be emailed to offer holders.

Airport Meet and Greet

There will be a free coach service for new students arriving at Luqa Airport, Malta on Monday 9 September and Tuesday 10 September 2019. For further details and to book onto Airport Collection please click here.

Welcome Programme and Introductory Lectures

Our Welcome Programme begins on Wednesday 11th September with introductory lectures and welcome sessions. You can view the full Induction Timetable  here: QMUL MBBS Malta Induction Timetable 2019-20 (New) [PDF 402KB]. This will also be available on your QM Plus.

Enrolment will take place on Thursday 12th September and afternoon of Friday 13th September. 

Please note, if you plan to arrive after Wednesday 11th September, please inform us so that we can ensure you do not miss any important information. Please email qmul-malta@qmul.ac.uk 

QM Plus

QM Plus is your online learning platform. We also upload useful information including Arrival Information. Our Admissions Team will have sent you an email with full details of how to access QM Plus and how to use the platform. Please do ensure you have received these emails and have read this information carefully. 

Visas and Immigration

Please ensure you have the correct immigration permissions to study in Malta. Identity Malta are a useful resource to assist with any visa application and for further information. You can find their site and contact details here. 

Healthcare

Please note that it is recommended that students take out healthcare insurance prior to studying with Queen Mary in Malta. Although you may have access to some facilities, we advise that you research what you will be able to access based on your country of residency and ensure you have adequate insurance for your time studying in Malta. 

Pre Arrival Communication

You will receive emails and updates from us prior to the start of your programme. Please ensure you check your email regulary and read all correspondence carefully. We will send out a Welcome Email in the coming weeks with all Arrivals Information. If you have any questions at all please do contact us.
