Profile

MA in Translating and Interpreting (University of Salford)
BA (Hons) in Modern Languages and Translation & Interpreting Studies (University of Salford)

My project is practice-led and looks at how a range of queer plays from the Catalan Countries can be translated and rendered for the Irish stage. The project seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice by engaging with queer, feminist and postcolonial translation theories and through the implementation of new translation strategies that are firmly rooted in queer culture and practice. This project has been made possible thanks to funding from the Institut Ramon Llull.

Supervisors: Dr John London and Dr Robert Gillett
