I am a graduate of the South Brittany University, in Lorient. I have a Licence (BA equivalent) in Literature and Civilisation (LLCE). I am in my second year of a Master’s degree in multilingualism in the francophone world.

My master’s dissertation is about the difficulties of English speakers when learning a foreign language. I am also focusing on whether introducing games into the classroom can be a suitable method for adult learners of a foreign language. I want to deepen my theoretical knowledge of foreign language teaching/learning and gain a better understanding of English culture, education system and current debates on language teaching and learning.

Modules taught in 2017-2018: French I Speaking, French II Advanced Speaking, French II Advanced Listening. I am also responsible for the Cineclub and updating the French departmental blog.

Research Interests:

Plurilingualism, difficulties in learning French, the use of games in learning a foreign language, Francophone world, French culture.
