Dr Leigh Oakes discusses his book Langue, citoyenneté et identité au Québec, co-authored with Jane Warren (formely of The University of Melbourne) and published by the Presses de l'Université Laval in 2009. The original English version of the book, Language, Citizenship and Identity in Quebec (Palgrave Macmillan, 2007), was awarded the 2008 Pierre Savard award by the International Council of Canadian Studies (ICCS).
