The QMUL Phonetics Laboratory is a newly refurbished, high quality recording environment with a range of state-of-the-art equipment for experimental and laboratory-based research. The Phonetics Lab is based in Room G.28, on the ground floor of the Arts One building (see map below).
Language Acquisition Lab
A new Language Acquisition Laboratory is currently under construction. It will house facilities for EEG and other experimental research on child and adult language acquisition. The Language Acquisition Lab will be based in the Bancroft Building (see map below).
The Linguistics Research Centre
The Linguistics Research Centre provides working space for PhD Students and Post-Docs as well as providing a space for psycholingistic experiments. It is situated in the Basement of the Arts Research Centre (building 31 on the map below). For those coming to participate in experiments, please use the side entrance via the canal.
