Upcoming conferences at QMUL: UKLVC, LAGB, IGALA

We are excited to announce that we have some of the biggest linguistics conferences coming to QMUL over the next couple of years.
The 12th UK Language Variation and Change (UKLVC) conference will be happening 3-5 September 2019. The first call for papers will go out in November 2018.
We’ll also be hosting the annual meeting for the Linguistics Association of Great Britain (LAGB) at QMUL around the same time - dates to be confirmed.
Finally, the 11th International Gender and Language Association (IGALA) conference will be at QMUL in 2020. The theme will be “Language and the Geopolitics of Gender”. Dates will be confirmed soon, but it likely be in late-June/early-July.
