Queen Mary has a new OPAL: Daniel Harbour, Melisa Rinaldi, Malcolm Skene, and Lara Tinay's, Tiwa tales: From the work of Carobeth Tucker Harrington [PDF 340KB]. Based on work conducted almost a century ago by one of the earliest women working in the field (whose work was largely ignored by contemporary and later linguists), this paper provides the first generally available linguistically glossed and annotated texts for this branch of the underdocumented Tanoan family. It is full of examples of the complex agreement, inverse passives, and incorporation for which Southern Tiwa is famed.
