Grant success for QM Linguists
Coppe van Urk, Luisa Martí and Adam Chong have all recently been awarded BA/Leverhulme Small Research grants.

Coppe and Luisa's grant (Title: Structure and interpretation in Imere) will fund research on the syntactic and semantic system of Imere, an understudied Polynesian language in Vanuatu. Adam's grant, with co-applicant James Sneed German at the Laboratoire de Langage et Parole in Aix-Marseille, will investigate the perception and production of prosodic prominence in Singapore English (Title: Perception and representation of prosodic prominence in Singapore English).
