PhD awarded: Dr. Rachelle Vessey

Join us in congratulating Dr. Rachelle Vessey on the successful completion of her PhD. Rachelle's thesis is entitled "Language ideologies and discourses of national identity in Canadian newpapers: A cross-linguistic corpus-assisted discourse study." and was supervised by Dr. Leigh Oakes and Dr. Colleen Cotter. We are also congratulating Rachelle on her new job as Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and Cross Cultural Communication at Newcastle University starting in September 2013.
