PhD awarded: Dr. Philippa Law

Join us in congratulating Dr. Philippa Law on the successful completion of her PhD. Philippa's thesis is entitled "Audiences' willingness to participate in Welsh-language media" and was supervised by Dr. Devyani Sharma and Dr. Leigh Oakes.

Philippa is now putting her understanding of audience participation to good use at The Guardian, where she encourages readers to contribute to the newspaper's journalism via the new user-generated content platform, GuardianWitness.
