Profile

I am a native German speaker with more than twenty years' experience of teaching German at various universities in London. After my M.A. in Performing Arts, I trained as a German teacher at Kingston University in London, obtaining a PGCE and qualified teacher status. Subsequently, I received my M.A. in Online and Distance Education from the Open University. My third M.A. was in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of London. As well as teaching German, I have a keen interest in studying other languages, in comparative linguistics and multilingualism. My expertise is wide-ranging and includes areas such as German for Academic Studies and German Translation Studies. I currently teach German courses online and face-to-face at Higher Education Institutions in London and Oxford.
