He has been invited to offer a series of seminars on exilic writing and world literature at the summer session of the Harvard Institute of World Literature, and a masterclass at the Freie Universität Berlin.
A special panel on his 2019 book "The Birth and Death of Literary Theory" took place in February 2020 at the AATSEEL convention in San Diego.
