Efe Acaroglu is currently teaching "Trading Interest Rate Derivatives: A Practitioner's view" course at SEF in QMUL. After finishing his MBA degree at Nottingham University, he started his banking career in Turkey and his work brought him to London in 1997. He worked for several banks in London between 1997 and 2015 and he was Head of EMEA Emerging Market Rates and Structured Trading at Nomura International Plc, when he decided to leave banking industry in 2015. He is specialised on trading FX, Credit and Interest Rates derivatives in Emerging Markets. Since 2015, he has been advising family offices in Emerging Markets trading, set up an education start up - Curious Kid - and been a Governor (vice chair) of local primary school federation (Robinsfield George Eliot Federation).
