Production Information

  • This collection of videos aims to give a sense of the research focuses, ethos, and environment in the Drama Department at Queen Mary University of London. As well as providing insights into individual staff members’ research fields and enquiries, these short clips demonstrate the diverse range of research that we explore in Drama at QMUL, through methods that are text-based and practical.
  • Initiated by Professor Jen Harvie (Director of Research, Department of Drama) and Project Managed by Catriona Fallow (PhD Researcher, Department of Drama), a key aim of this project was to bring together research staff and current PhD students working in similar fields to collaborate on a set of interview questions and share research insights. Interviews were conducted by PhD students.
  • Each of the videos was filmed and edited by David Wright (Technical Supervisor, Department of Drama) between December 2012 and February 2014.
  • We anticipate that this database of videos will grow to continue to reflect the research emerging from Drama at QMUL as well as showcasing the passions and practices of the individuals who work and learn here.
