Profile
I am a postdoctoral researcher within the Marine Ecosystems Research Programme under the supervision of Axel Rossberg and Andrew Hirst. I am investigating the recovery times of marine ecosystem indicators and developing target ranges that can be used in fisheries management. My research interests include marine macroecology, use of the trait-based approach in analysing fish or invertebrate communities, and the analysis of large, empirical datasets to describe broad-scale patterns.
I completed my PhD on deep-sea fish ecology at the University of Sheffield. In this work I applied various trait-based approaches and described the recovery of communities over a period of declining fishing pressure using size-based indicators.
