Dr Ron Cutler from School of Biological and Chemical Sciences at Queen Mary, University of London was interviewed for a BBC4 documentary on what could be our most important invention - the toilet. He discusses hygiene habits, emphasises the importance of hand washing after using the bathroom and swabs different parts of a public toilet to find out what types of bacteria lurk there.
