Speaker: John Vincent, PhD Student at SBCS

In this psychology talk, SBCS PhD student John Vincent will give a very brief introduction to psychiatric disorders (specifically depression and anxiety), genetic and environmental factors involved and possible mechanisms that may contribute. After this introduction there will be a quick run-through of some relevant research (twin studies, stress reactivity and cognitive biases), highlighting both strength and weaknesses of research thus far.
