Project title: To what degree are attack rates constrained by ecological and biological factors?
Summary: The aim will be to objectively compare two hypotheses (biological and ecological constraints respectively) for the adaptation of attack rates in predator-prey communities. This will be achieved by assessing under which contingencies these hypothesese are significant/active utilizing models that simulate the assembly, invasion and speciation, within and between ecosystem communities.
