Please save the date for the Queen Mary Festival of Education, 8-12 March 2021

The Festival will be a celebration of the many achievements of recent months, with particular focus on online and blended learning, innovative approaches and successes, flexibility and student voice. The event will feature a series of keynotes, panel discussions and thematic workshops throughout the week. The Festival is free, and many of the sessions will be available to external delegates as well as the Queen Mary community.

We're delighted to announce the following confirmed speakers for this year's Festival of Education.

Tuesday 9 March

Keynote address - 10am

Dr Gill Houston - The doctoral viva: what is its role in the final examination and how does it affect outcomes?

Thursday 11 March

Keynote address - 12pm

Professor Helen Higson - The Value of Teaching Recognition in Building a Culture of Educational Excellence

Nona McDuff - Approaches to inclusivity in blended learning
