Being part of Queen Mary, the most inclusive Russell Group university, I am very proud of and grateful for the opportunity to be able to work together with students and staff from over 170 nationalities. It has been fascinating to see educators and learners from different cultural education background working together and flourishing.

LEA is a powerful tool which can help us to understand different learning patterns and identify good practices in teaching and learning. Apart from helping all learners to reach their full academic potential, I think LEA is also very beneficial to people like myself in the role as Director of Education or Programme Lead as it can help us to recognising students’ learning patterns on different degree programmes, on different modules, in different development years, and from different education backgrounds etc. The statistics collected from LEA coupled with other data, such as attainment, module evaluation and programme review could assist us to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency in our education provision and pedagogy approach. Insights drawn from LEA can also provide powerful support to our teaching innovation.
