Mile End Library is extending its weekend opening hours

QMUL’s Library Services are pleased to announce a period of extended weekend opening hours at Mile End Library. From Monday 1 February, opening hours at Mile End Library will be 8am to midnight, seven days a week. This will continue up to and including Monday 28 March.

The extended opening hours during February and March are in addition to the library’s 24/7 opening period, which starts at midnight on Tuesday 29 March and ends at midnight on Friday 3 June. Find out more.

QMUL student wins cosmonaut training experience in Russia

Kieran Hashmi, a third-year Physics student, has won a place at a Russian cosmonaut training centre for a video submitted to a competition launched to mark British astronaut Tim Peake’s momentous visit to the International Space Station.
