Community Engagement Awards

The Community Engagement Awards celebrate QMUL’s connections to our local community and wider society, celebrating how local, national and international communities shape our work.

These awards recognise the partnerships and collaborations in QMUL research, teaching and wider work which bring benefit to local residents, wider communities, QMUL academics, researchers and students.

There are four award categories:

Community Engagement Awards 2017

Individual Award for Community Engagement

This award recognises success by individuals in community engagement.

There are two categories for this award:

  • Community Engagement Award for an individual – QMUL Staff and Students

This award recognises a student or staff member who has gone above and beyond in their commitment to community engagement at QMUL. This award is open to QMUL staff and students, including research, teaching, technical and professional services staff.

 

  • Community Engagement Award for an individual – Community

 

This award is for an individual from a community organisation or project external to QMUL who has gone above and beyond in their commitment to community engagement with QMUL.

Community Partnership Award

This award recognises a partnership between QMUL and a community organisation where both have collaborated for mutual benefit.

This award is open to QMUL staff and student projects, including those led by PhD students, research, teaching, technical and professional services staff.

Engaging International Communities Award

This award recognises an exceptional community engagement project delivered outside of the UK by QMUL staff or students.

This award is open to QMUL staff and student projects, including those led by PhD students, research, teaching, technical and professional services staff.

Community Engagement Award-UK project

This award recognises an exceptional community engagement project developed by QMUL staff or students that reaches a community in the UK – whether local to our campuses or further afield.

This award is open to QMUL staff and student projects, including those led by PhD students, research, teaching, technical and professional services staff.
